Reading Resources Available
Research shows that meeting reading benchmarks is critical to a child’s success in school. If students don't meet reading benchmarks on the fall Idaho Reading Indicator, our teachers will create personalized reading plans for students to help them improve their skills in specific areas such as vocabulary, comprehension, fluency, phonics and decoding. We've also compiled a special page of reading resources to help parents help their children become successful readers.
D91 Enhances School Safety with STOPit
D91 is pleased to announce the launch of STOPit, an anonymous reporting system that will allow students, parents and patrons to report concerns about school safety. Those with concerns can now easily report them -- everything from bullying to threats of violence. Reports can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year through STOPit in the D91App, through a direct link on all student Chromebooks, via a telephone hotline at (855) 990-0932 or using this link on the district and all school websites. Just click NEXT, search for your school, file your report. Learn more about the launch of STOPit.
Inspiring Kids To Go On
D91 is proud to partner with Idaho Business for Education and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco on the new Within Reach program, which highlights the importance and value of a postsecondary education, whether it’s an apprenticeship or a 4-year degree. The power of the new Within Reach program is working with businesses to connect with parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles in the workplace, and highlight the importance of students “going on” after high school.
