D91 Enhances School Safety with STOPit
D91 is pleased to announce the launch of STOPit, an anonymous reporting system that will allow students, parents and patrons to report concerns about school safety. Those with concerns can now easily report them -- everything from bullying to threats of violence. Reports can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year through STOPit in the D91App, through a direct link on all student Chromebooks, via a telephone hotline at (855) 990-0932 or using this link on the district and all school websites. Just click NEXT, search for your school, file your report. Learn more about the launch of STOPit.
Reading Resources Available
Research shows that meeting reading benchmarks is critical to a child’s success in school. If students don't meet reading benchmarks on the fall Idaho Reading Indicator, our teachers will create personalized reading plans for students to help them improve their skills in specific areas such as vocabulary, comprehension, fluency, phonics and decoding. We've also compiled a special page of reading resources to help parents help their children become successful readers.
Free Parent Resources: Parent Coaching
D91 is providing parents with additional support through Parenting Coaching, a free program available through the district's ongoing partnership with ParentGuidance.org. This service includes regular calls with a coach; helpful tools and tips for parents; guided, step-by-step resources; 24/7 texting with 24-hour response and confidential help. Learn more.
