Bullying Policy

  • Here at Ethel Boyes, we have zero tolerance for acts of bullying.  These videos can help you and your student understand what bullying is, what it is not, how it can look, and ways to stand up to acts of bullying.  We have also developed an Anonymous Reporting Form that parents and students can use to report behavior concerns to our administrative team.     Verbal strategies for older students: in this video, Brooks Gibbs explains bullying as an imbalance of power. He explains practical ways that students can respond to bullying that will take away the power of the person doing the bullying.

    Cyber-bullying awareness and education: this is for students who are using online communication tools.  This powerful video reminds students that cyberbullying is harmful and has serious effects. They will learn to “stop, block & tell” when they see or experience cyberbullying.
